Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Make sure you come to a FULL stop at WalMart stopsigns.

And yet many in this country are ok with giving away more of our rights and are ok with more government control?!?! :shrugs::nope:

I hope the guy becomes a wealthy man over this from the lawsuits and a whole lot of heads roll in the aftermath. ESPECIALLY the arresting officer. As for the judge issuing the search warrant, he should be put into the unemployment lines come next election, if not sooner.

And the medical personnel had the opportunity to just say NO. Especially to the unnecessary repeated procedures.

Pretty much this was state sanctioned torture.

I'm not sure treble damages and punitives are enough to cover what this guy went through. I wondered while reading the article why he did not demand an attorney, but the full complaint alleges he did so repeatedly and was refused. These out of control cops need to spend some time in the appropriate section of a penitentiary...

Someone also needs to explain to his attorneys the difference between "bowl" and "bowel"...

More than not making full stops at walmart, never clench your buttocks... who the heck issues a search warrant just because the suspect was clenching his buttocks outside a walmart parking lot.

Apparently someone who's never had nature start to call while in the middle of standing in a long ass wal-mart line.

I read that whole and I thought at the end we were going to find out that he had a snake up his butt, call me crazy.

And the search warrant did not cover the county the medical facility was in. They expect him to pay the bills but they will end up paying in the end.

I truly mean no offence whatsoever to those of the US, but this made me so glad for my personal safety that I live in Canada... where stop signs in parking lots are a suggestion and not the law, and citizens have the right to refuse police advances if they are not informed of what they are being stopped for. Not to mention the HORENDOUS acts forced upon this innocent man... that's not right anywhere. Clenched cheeks are no reason to assume anything. That is almost laughable - if it weren't for the unfortunate and degrading circumstances.

It goes by state, In New Jersey painted Lines and all signage are for guidance, because it is technically private property they can NOT enforce signs, speeding even handicapped signs in parking lots...FACT !

Same in NC, you can run a Wal-Mart stop sign anytime you want as long as the lane is clear. I thought that was everywhere.

Also, NH, we have the right to refuse a search too, it's explicitly stated in our constitution. Too few people know that. Nothing that happened to that man is legal in the US, either.

I'm near positive that all road signs on private property are just suggestions here too, not something a cop would or can pull you over for and I thought it was that way everywhere too. Makes accidents in parking lots a bit tricky, as the police have very limited jurisdiction in them.

This is outrageous! This is no longer a country to be proud of when this kind of harassment of its citizens are allowed to go on. I'm disgusted!

This is just the tip of the iceberg for the bs that goes on in this state. Gila Regional will soon be named after him.

Wow... then that is even more outrageous. I feel so terribly awful for this poor fellow...

And in Maryland, Handicap Parking Sign have no bearing unless they have been issued by the state and must be accompanied with a state ordanance number so the ones at Wal-Mart mean diddly.

In MO it wouldn't have mattered. Chances are the driver didn't/wouldn't have come to a complete stop leaving the parking lot. It's state law that any leaving of private property onto public roads is to be treated as a stop sign, even if one isn't posted.
