So I think Nancy's time has come. She just won't eat despite our best efforts, she barely moves and just has "that" look about her. This is really sucky as even though I work in a clinic and help others through this almost daily, I don't believe I have ever had to do this myself. I am a realist and know that keeping her like this is unfair so I am going to call and make the appointment tomorrow. Bleh :awcrap:
 
I'm sorry. It's tough with dragons- they are so personable. It's too bad they have such short lives. (((hugs)))
 
Oh, I am so sorry. I have been there too, and the pain is just heart wrenching.

Be there with her, tell her how much you love her and she will be your guardian angel.

At the moment Nancy is still with me. We made the decision to give her the weekend to see how she would do and she perked up a bit and at some...I gave her some mealworms today and I haven't seen her that enthusiastic about ANYTHING in a long time so...fingers crossed, maybe she will be around a bit longer. Thank you SO much for the love and support, I will keep you guys updated on her outcome.
 
Oooh, I hope that it buys her more time. Maybe she was just feeling out-of-sorts.
