This is Scorch, He thinks he is the King of the amazonian tree snakes.

I say this because he spends 99% of the time up in the air. eating, sleeping, drinking. the only time he comes down to earth is when he slips or sheds.

That is cute, but could be an indicator of a heat problem as well. Though some snakes just like to be up in a tree. What are your temperatures like?
 
He is in a 29Gal tank

He has a small(8X8) exoterra rainforest UT heat pad hooked up to a homemade rheostat if needed.

Current glass temp on the heated side is 82F
and cool side is 73F
 
That sounds like a nice Viv. What do you have in the way of hides for him? Can you take a photo of the whole viv? Right now it just sounds like he likes to be arboreal, also looks like there is some diffusion going on there, does he have belly checkers?
