Meet Scout

diamondlil

Mice! They taste so nice!
My lone survivor from this year's breedings (10 eggs left but no signs of pipping), this little granite (or aneryblood) hatched 7 days ago. He has a kink about 2/3rds down his back. This morning I got in from work to find he or she has shed, so I thawed a pink and without hesitation Scout ate.

He's beautiful! I hope the kink grows out, or at least doesn't prove to cause him any major problems. And I'm sorry to hear about the rest of the clutch. :(

Tough guy! Against the odds he survived, his kink is a badge.
Good looking too, nice sides.

Thanks. I was so excted to see that Scout had shed that I forgot to do a repeat popping. Trust me to get a 'wonky donkey' keeper that I can't resist! Killer diffusion, het hypo and zero breeding potential.
As long as the little booger stays healhthy and thrives it's got a home here.

Beauty is simply in the eye of the beholder..Even though he has a kink..he is still a very gorgous little guy :0)

2 days after eating, Scout is out exploring and I found a little tiny poop!

Yay! I love to see kinked guys survive and thrive in a loving home =) Not to mention he is a gorgeous guy!!

Awe..poor lonely Scout.
That snakie is too cute. Its funny..I was thinking that was a good name for a snake..and was gonna use it too in the future..LOL..

Hope to see more of Scout around here!

~~'Manda:cheers:

Thanks! I really didn't need another non-breeding pet-only snake, but I couldn't resist Scout's little face. To be totally honest, if things had worked out and I'd had 50 or so healthy hatchlings to get started I might not have kept him. Now he's fed, shed and digested I'm happier about his prospects. This morning he was having a bath in his water dish.
Scout's named after Tonto's paint horse, from the Lone Ranger.

Scout is still popping female, and as there are no breeding plans in store, I'll accept that she's a girlie. And despite her kink, a very lucky little girl who survived against the odds. Her siblings were all DIE. Another granite and the rest were bloods.

Here's my little girlie tonight. Sorry if people get fed up with her, but I really love her to pieces!
