Meet Scout

Absolutely, Fred! I fully understand that not everyone has the space and time for 'special needs' snakes, but I do. I'm only going to ever be a pet owner with a couple of breedings a year. If I went to a bigger scale I'd be worried about losing out on their individuality.

Ahhhh I dont know what it is, A good bet is PM'ing WildlifeWarrior on RFUK...
I thought it might have been powdery stuff around the eye, Which made me think Hardwater... But knowing its in the eye, I dont know what it is... Sorry.

No worries Joel. I'll see what happens after Scout's shed, then send the photos to see if I can find out what's going on.

:dancer::dancer::dancer:Scout shed, and her eyes are clear! The white part was external, on the eyecaps after all!

Thanks Fred! Such a relief. She was quite lively this morning, trying to slither off for an adventure.

LOL. Well of course!! Now that she can SEE, she wants to go out and have a good old time!

I really, REALLY am glad that she's all better. For her and for YOU!

YAY!! I've been keeping my eye on this, very glad to hear the pretty girl is healthy! She is such a beautiful snake =)

All the best,
Ali

As Scout's last pinky was so small she's been cruising her tub already. I thought I'd grabbed a 2g pink (I'm on nights, so 5 pm for me is like 5 am for normal people) but got worried when I saw how big her feeding lump is. Now I'm going to worry until it's (hopefully) digested.

As Scout managed the big pinky so well, she's now on double pinks to use up the small ones.
I took a closer look at the shed with the white patches over the eyes, and am now wondering if she somehow had got some of her shredded paper substrate wet and stuck on there!

Due a weighing after she's digested, Scout has a big (compared to her) beach stone to explore and exercise on

Scout looks great! Looks like she's getting along fine.

How's the kink doing? Does it seem to be lessening, worsening or remaining relatively unchanged? I know its only been a few weeks, but it would be interesting to see what's happening to the kink.

The picture of Scout on the rock... Looks like a "scout" being a lookout on a rock! :) :p

I can't see any difference in Scout's kink, Fred, but it doesn't seem to bother her at all:)
Today she weighed in at 14g, and decided to eat like an arboreal, I think I'll have to put the lid on her feeding tub!
