Walt, that's a great looking snake you have there! I'd say though that the belly will tell you if it's a blooded or not. Are the ventral scales translucent at all? If they are then I'd say you have a blood. Any chance of taking a pic for us?

Yeah, I was waiting for it's first shed to check and it does have clear/translucent areas, I just never took pics. but I'll go get one for ya'll to see.
I'm now leaning more towards it being a Bloodred Motley, however I'm still going to test it to be 100% certain ;)

Screams diffused to me. Which is awesome because before I looked at the belly pics I thought it was just a nice motley.

Yeah, I remember you asking me about the belly earlier in the thread Nate.
I wanted to wait for it's first shed to be sure I wasn't seeing moisture under the skin which can sometimes happen and give the snake a different appearence.

Once it shed and I checked it, I figured it very well to be a Bloodred Motley, but as mentioned I'm still going to test him to be 100% certain.
