leave them to it for a while but after a few hours if they are still fighting sep them and try again in a few day. Mine faught when I first put them together but now they are best of buddies and breeding really well.
When starting up a new colony, I put the male in breeding cage for a week by self. His smell is in cage. I then introduce the females into his cage. It's not their cage being invaded by a stranger. I have not had any problems with fighting. No males injured or killed. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Try providing 2 separate nesting boxes at different ends of cage. Maybe he wants to mate and she is not ready. If you are setting up a colony, you need at least 3 females to 1 male. If that doesn't work and he is biting her you need to separate them and try again as suggested above.

Okay thank you I will try the 2 hids, if that doesn't work then they may end up as snake food which is what they were supposed to be, but they where tan and I thought they were cute and decided to use them as breeders but if they don't get along then they may be food.
