More hognose issues - seeking help with feeding live

So I left him largely undisturbed and upped his temp on his warm side closer to 88 for a few days, and then offered a toad-scented pinkie head and he ate it!! Yaaaay!! Thank you Chip, I think he might have just been not warm enough + the pinkies were a little big for him. :)!

So I thought I'd throw out a quick update on this guy.

I let him cool off and he reacted really well to it - I figured why fight it if he's not going to eat anyway? I didn't go too cold, but I didn't keep him too hot.. I checked on him every day, and he finally started reacting with some sass instead of the usual lethargic head turn. Lol! So on Saturday when he gave me some real hissing, I heated his tub back up to 90F on the hot side and he became very active, searching his box with more vigor than I'd ever seen him.. so I offered an unscented F/T pinkie head. He gobbled it!! UNSCENTED! F/T!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :)!!! Gonna offer a meal again in a few days, hopefully I can get him to give me a shed, too!

Mari, these snakes grow at a much slower rate than corns. Don't expect monthly sheds, they seem to hang on for about twice that on average.

It'll be the fifth month without a shed, which is why I'm sorta.. anxious for it. :) I understand. Thanks Chip!
