Yet another day spent cleaning a couple skulls :) I cleaned a rather odd beaver skull...will have to wait until my beetles finish with it to get a better idea of what happened to it...potentially bites from another animal...weirdly thick mandible...

Also got ahold of 3 11 week old wolf cub skulls (rare find)...they were from a breeder, their mother died and they were bottle fed. Sadly they were all failure to thrive. I have more of the story in the thread below...don't want to repeat myself here.

Because I am lazy and don't want to upload photos here:

I will also be working on a hedgehog for a friend, I will get pics of that when I start it, probably Monday :)

Aww that's so sad :( at 11 weeks wolf pups should be eating a solid raw meat diet. Have to wonder if the breeder didn't know how to raise them. Will be neat to see them finished!

Ali I'm not sure what they were eating when they died, but my guess would be after their mother died maybe the breeder didn't know how to take care of them properly, as you suggested.
