Looks like he is well on his way!

Here's June as a baby:
June102803.JPG

She had an unusual head, as you can see. She repeatedly tried to fit through the air holes on her tub, and could only get that far. She wore off her scales really good, and has been weird looking ever since.

June has some more contrast going on I think, but the colors are quite the same :crazy02:

I didn't see anything weird on her head in her adult pic....

My amel is docile!!!!!

My male amel has never once even cocked his head at me like he was going to bite. He loves to be held and will often beg to come out and curl up on you. On the other hand my female normal is wicked. Last night she tried to bite me while i was changing her water. Instead she got a mouth full of sani chips. I felt bad but i guess it served her right. Maybe she wont bite anymore? :grin01:

Our most docile would be a toss up between my hypo and my snow. Second would be our Taiwan beauty and 3rd my Amel, but all our other hatchlings are pretty fiesty. My "normal" motley bit my husband 4 times in a row last time he picked her up! Here are the snow and the hypo :)

Very nice, people! Keep em' coming.
Misty, I love that pic of June on the bird house, looks so natural :grin01:
I hope Ginger here looks that cool in a few years :wavey:

I wish I could take pics outside all the time.... it's almost freezing in here! And in summe ronly a few weeks all together are warm enought to have a snake out :shrugs:

The most docile one I have is Lily the amel. She's a doll. She was one of my keepers from 1998. She's bitten me once since then, and that was my fault (forgot to wash my hands after feeding when I picked her up). She's also a snuggle lover. Any chance she gets to curl up in my hair and nuzzle my neck, she takes it.

Biggest pain in the ass would have to be my amel banded mot Ember. She's young, and its expected but man if she doesn't have it out for me! I don't think I've ever NOT seen her in this position yet! She'll nail me about 4 or 5 times before I ever realize it too.

I guess I'm the exception to the docile snow rule...Both my adult snow girls are a bit hyper. One is a tail rattler that doesn't like being picked up, the other has a tendency to confuse fingers with food. They both settle after a few minutes of handling but the most docile snake I have is my motley/stripe ghost. She's been sweet ever since I got her. Here's an older "baby" picture of her from last year.

My most docile snake is far-and-away Sienna, my normal corn. Even as a hatchling she was very mellow, never got upset about being handled and has always been my biggest snuggler ("watches" tv with me all the time). She was my "petshop purchase" but I wouldn't trade her for anything.

The only time she's ever bitten is when she was probed by Dave, and I suppose thats excusable under the circumstances. ;)
