hey all!

Well, this is going to be a VERY off-topic thread, but I'm moving to Roanoke, VA from CT in early September (yup, 2 weeks!) and am having trouble finding a house/duplex/apartment with my animals (in my price range). 1 dog, 3 snakes, 1 leopard gecko and a beta fish make it a bit difficult for a renter, but I'm determined!

I've got a line on a couple of realtors now on whom I'm waiting to get back to me with more details, but I'm starting to get a bit anxious. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated - I figured it couldn't hurt to ask!

Welcome to the South!
I'm in Greensboro NC - about 90 minutes away. I can't help with the housing issue - but wanted to say 'hi'. At least you'll know there are other corn folks around.
(I moved here from Westchster County, NY about 15 years ago and love it!.)
I hope all works out with the move.
 
Thanks, deb! I was supposed to be moving to Asheville, NC where I had a nice little apartment all set-up, but last week the plans changed, and I'm trying to get my plans smoothed out in 2 weeks...no job, no house, but moving regardless! life's such an adventure!! :crazy02:
 
Hi there! I'm pretty close to there too, I'm in winfall NC.
But what I really wanted to say is I love love love your avatar! One of these days when I have hatchlings, one of the keepers is going to be named Atreyu. :)
