corn eggs always dint a few days b4 hatching thats them getting ready to come out mine dinted about a week b4 but it could also be the moisture check its ok add alittle water ect but should be fine as ling as they dont go like that on the left.

I wonder if it had died(the hardboiled one) before forming or if it was a long lasting slug. Sorry to ask such a graphic question. But one of my clutches had an egg like that. I was curious what you thought? Sorry to hear about the eggs. Fingers are crossed for your Sept babies.
