My first corn... a little snow..

What's This?
I picked him up yesterday at Repticon. He was one of only two snows there, but this was by far smaller. I was also going to pick up a very small normal, but some kid picked him up literally 2 seconds before I did. I measured him and he's about 19 inches, any clue on his age... about?? anyways, here are some pics.. sorry if they arent the best. the lighting in my room is horrible and turns everything yellow..

He looks great. Nice color, which should only improve with age. He's probably 4-6 months old, but that's hard to tell from pics. His feeding schedule would have more impact on his size than age. Congrats. :)

Thankyou very much.. I'm hoping to have more luck with him than my late ball python who I shouldve known had a problem the third time I took his nose out of his waterbowl to prevent his death.... unfortunately that was his downfall only months after I got him

very nice snow, but is it a normal snow...just wondering because its got some blue in its pattern.

Blue? I've only spotted some purplish borders, is that what you mean? It does occur in normal snows I think and I really love it! The best corn a girl can get colorwise :grin01:

Haha, thanks, no, he's a normal snow, but I did pick him out because I liked the purpleish borders around the saddles.. I just changed his tank some so it has aspen isntead of newspaper.. He is enjoying digging through it. I'm going to try and feed him for the first time on wednesday. On anothe r note, I think you think I'm female..... and I'm male.... just thought itd be good info....

Congrats on your new baby snow! I have an '05 snow hatchling myself that is about the same size and is about 6 months old eating peach fuzzies. Good luck with him/her and enjoy!

Thankyou.... and if yours is 6 months and about that size.. then I'll just mark him off at that age so I can definitely have a decent estimate, even if it isnt true... I cant wait for this week to go by so I can start truly handling him and all and then when I get a job and move into my sisters room (which is somewhat 2 times the size) I can build my own cages and also get another corn, preferably a female butter... about the same age..... that shouldnt bee too far from now..

blue...purple...its all the same :sidestep: but yeah thats what i meant :)

thanks a lot... all of you.. He's turned out great so far.... he's downing his first pinky right now... I plan on giving him two because he downed this one so easily
barely stretched out his jaw. I can only imagine what he'll look like when he gets older, I hope he retains the purple around his saddles, those are definitely a distinctive characteristic that I enjoy about him
