I have 3 corns....
Glacier, 3 yr snow-male
Autumn, 3 yr butterscotch-female
Zeke, 1 1/2 yr pastel motley-male

Well, Autumn use to be "Otto" b/c we had bought her after being told she was a male. I came home one day 2 months ago and found her laying eggs. I'm not sure which male is responsible. I thinking the snow b/c he's older and bigger. He also went through a non-eating phase and the local pet store said that was commom in males that have bred. Is that true? He didn't eat for 6 weeks but he's back to being a piggy now.

I was excited about the eggs and really went nuts when they started hatching on 5/27/03.

I have taken several photos but haven't developed them yet.
I'm too excited to wait until I get the good pictures so borrowed a cheesy polaroid from work and took a picture.

These are my babies. I think I have 6 normals and 3 amels.

As soon as I get the good pictures, I'll post them.

Doubt you'll be able to find out, that is, unless you put her with only one of the two males next year. Heck, this year, it could have been both males having fertilized her, believe it or not!:D Congrats! Glad to hear your incubation went successful!
 
Next year, I'm going to put her with only one of the males.

Actually, it was 3 1/2 months ago when I found out she was a girl after she laid the first eggs.
None of those made it b/c I hadn't read anything about breeding and incubation. I was told the snake was a male when I bought it.
About a week after she laid the first eggs, I found out I had to seperate from the guys b/c the would breed again. I didn't get her moved in time and about a week before she laid them, I noticed the same activity as before. I went right away and bought an incubator. This time I was ready and just happen to come home when she started laying them.
I was glad to have eggs again but was worried about her b/c she was so skinny after that.

I wish I would have known she was a female and I couldn't have prevented her looking so bad. She lost close to half her body weight between the first 12 and the last 9.

I happy to say, she has gained some weight and looks better already.

I know the picture is crappy but do those look like normals and amels. I noticed today that one of the 3 amel looking ones is a different color. I have some better photos tomorrow.
 
Yes, I do think they look like normals. When you get rid of them to new homes, you can tell them that they are het. amel. That means that breeding two of the normals will give you at least some amels or albinos.

If the snow was the father, then the anery trait was only shown on the father's side and not the mother's so the babies will also be het for anery. A corn het for amel/anery = het for snow!
