My Lovely Blood Rayne

Crazy Critter Lady
I just wanted to start a thread for my lovely girl. Sold as a Diffused/Bloodred at the shop, after much controversy I contacted the shop and they called the breeder that supplies them. He insists she is blood out of blood parents. I'm taking it as is, she looks diffused to me. :shrugs:

She's a confirmed 07. Lovely little lady ;)

Wow i like em dark bloods!
She looks exactly like one of my girls!
When she got a plain belly she´s defenetly a bloo!
Congrats on that great addition!

I read somewhere that bloodred is an old name for diffused still used by many breeders. Bloodreds as know today are selectively bred diffused snakes that have no pattern when they reach adulthood.

Yeah, Bloodred is now usually reserved for those that are a deep dark red that is the color of dried blood. With as little pattern as possible. As she is only 4 years old (well close lol) I hope to see more reduction in pattern as she ages. If not she is still a wonderfully rich blood color ;) Clear belly aside from the side color bleeding into it too.
