Cuddling with Colubrids<3
Heyy all,
Soo, as some of you know I was in the market for a WH, but sadly the breeder I was in contact with's Hog's didn't take this year.. Sooo no WH's..
BUT.. Today I went over to my local reptile shop and I seen that they had a number or different Milk snakes in! (Another snake that I have always wanted!) They had a Honduran, 2 Pueblen's, and a mexican. (Forgive my spelling if anything's wrong.
) Anyway's, Since I was already in the market to get a snake with the tank, UTH, thermostat est.. all set up, but it fell through, I thought I would take a look!
The Honduran, was a yearling so he was a decent size but still had some growing to do, he was soo sweet and calm. He just sat on my arm and looked around.
The 2 pueblens they had were both hatchlings and were spastic as heck! lol not really for me..
and the I got to see a mexican milk snake, He was gorgeous!!! He was a just a baby a couple weeks old, but he was MUCH calmer then the pueblen's!
Needless to say I Instantly fell in love.. and he was promptly popped, deli cupped and brought to his forever home.
Right now he's just settling in, I attempted to get a weight on him but he showed his 'true milk snake side' LOL and started flailing all over since he was still stressed from the ride home. So I just put him into his bin to let him settle in for the next week.
and I have named him Arber. (I thought it was a really neat name, and it suited his little face.)
Honestly I didn't think I would end up with a Milk snake so soon, but this little guy absolutely stole my heart!
