My new (not really a) wolfdog

Update

New pics from yesterday. She's in the gangly, disproportionate juvenile stage now, but she's still my gorgeous little girl.

She is amazing! I see no awkward ganglyness at all.. I see pure elegance and regal beauty!

Also, she looks very attentive. You must be doing a great job with her!

Thanks! I'm a proud daddy. I can't wait to start mushing with her. Just a few more months and she'll be ready to pull a light sled for me.

How is the Tamaskan Club of America a puppy mill?? I know they're linked to Right Puppy Kennel, but considering that the website is the TCoA and RPK is where the new NC State live mascot is from, I highly doubt with all that publicity they could get away with being a puppy mill...

The TCA was created and operated by the owner of Right Puppy Kennel. IF you would take the time to read the TCA website and look at layout, it is done by the same person. THe TCA links nowhere but back to Right puppy Kennel and a couple hate websites that discredit the original Registered Tamaskan breeders.
This Kennel (Right Puppy Kennel) has 30 to 40 Shibu Inu dogs, 10-12 Tamaskan wolfdogs, and actual wolfdogs. So they have 50+ dogs whose purpose is breeding to produce a profit. This is a large scale puppy farm whose purpose is to produce puppies at the lowest cost possible so that the owner can reap the greatest profit. This is a business to make money. These type of places do not feed their animals the top quality foods, they do not do health testing as this all cuts into their profit.
You're wrong about the NCSU Mascot coming from RPK. Right Puppy Kennel provided a dog one time. The school realized that this type of breeding facility could put the school in a bad light by being associated with a large scale breeding facility so they ended their contact and went with a different Tamaskan who was owned privately.
Puppy mill laws in North Carolina are very weak. As long as a breeder provides fresh water and food one a day and their is no witnessed animal abuse a kennel like this can operate. This person advertises that these dogs live in the home and his daughter sleeps with them every night. SERIOUSLY, can you imagine what the inside of your home would be if you had over 50 dogs running about day in and out. This place can only be considered a mill of an animal hoarder, but hoarders do not usually have fancy websites with cute puppy pictures of all of the animals for sale. This person probably spends more hours on the computer with advertising than actual time with the animals.

That sure sounds like a puppy mill operation to me. When you own 50 dogs, you are in it for the money. Plain and simple.
