There has been a puppy hanging around my house since early spring. My neighbor said that she belonged to him. He has other dogs that hang around our house too. Well a couple weeks ago this puppy got hit by a truck in front of our house. She didn't seem too hurt. She was just sitting on our porch with some cuts and a big gash in her head. We called the neighbor up and he now claims he has no puppy and he doesn't know what we are talking about.
To make a long story short we now have a puppy. We took her to the vet. She doesn't have anything broken. She did have a couple mild seizures because there was a little swelling on her brain. But that has also gone away and the vet gave her a clean bill of health. Once she is fully healed we are going to get her shots and have her fixed.
We know she is a mutt. But are curious what kind of mix she is. I think she is at least half pitbull. I had one before and the way her legs are shaped and the way she walks is just like my pitbull. It wouldn't be hard to believe either since everyone around here seems to have a pitbull. I'm just stumped on what else she is. I can't figure it out.
This is how she normally looks. Her ears stick up and it looks kinda silly.
But after being hit by the truck one of her ears got broken and now it flops over sometimes.
So any thoughts on what she might be? If she were a little fuzzier I'd think she looks like a dingo lol!
