My dad and I made this in a few weeks from wood we bought at Loews.

Each 20gal Long is on a shelf on brackets so they can be pulled out for easy reach and cleaning. ENJOY!

Hey, that looks awesome. Did you build that shelf yourself? What are the dimensions and what is in the cage with the huge cave?
 
those are nice 20g tanks there they look like the sliding top ones. I had an escape from one of those. One of the little pins broke off. I decided i'd superglue it on the next morning, because there was just a tiny crack and i didn't think my 54'' female snow would come close to getting out. I was so relieved when I heard her crawling around inside my bureau at 5:00 in the morning.
 
I can't remember the exact dimensions of the shelf unit which WAS build by hand by my father and I (a most excellent father/son project before heading off to medical school). I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy the shelves that slide out...


As for the 70 Gal Oceanic reptile tank (with vents) that houses my ball python- Maggie (after Maggie Simpson). She is nearly full grown and was/is my first snake. Followed by my two normal corns (you can see one in that pic above, the upper right tank), then my 2 hatchling anery's, and one creamsicle male I'm trying to get rid of...

oh by the way, see under the BIG 70 gal, that houses my male/female leo's. Time to get rid of those too. They were my substitute for the camelian I really wanted but really couldn't afford to buy.

EDIT: oh yeah, and about those 20Longs, they are all "All-Glass" crittercages with sliding tops. My original 20L was a crittercage and I loved it, never a single escape for two years out of my normals (and I got them when they were hatchlings). So I swear by all-glass critter cages and bought three more to go into the shelf unit. They redesigned the locks on the new one's. Not exactly to my liking but no one is escaping and they look great!
 
hands down, reptibark.

Unfortunately it's a little dusty out of the bag but since I've changed from aspen shavings to reptibark my snakes have never had a bad shed.

It holds moisture, it covers stink.

I also have been trying to create as "natural" of a habitat I can for my snakes and shredded aspen just doesn't seem indigenous to forest floors...

EDIT: yes I realize the irony of using a half-mug as a water dish after spending all that money on the "real" look of the reptibark. I plan on getting some more natural bowls (I have a stone one in the 70 gallon that looks GREAT!
 
can i ask you why you want to get rid of ur leos and youre creamsicle corn, i have a creamsicle aswell and its looks great, i love mine.
 
Well, I want to get rid of my Leo's mainly because they're eating me out of house and home. I just started medical school and feeding my snakes once a week or once every other week is cool but I have a hard time keeping a lot of cherping crickets or nasty mealworms...

they're wonderful/beautiful animals, I'd just rather focus on my snakes and breeding projects.

As for my creamsicle. Well here is the background info on that. One of my local breeders told me he would "buy" 7 of my 14 hatchlings from me when they ate. So I got the first 7 eating and brought them in. Well, this guy is worst than any pushy car salesman and can talk anyone into anything. Long story short he changed his story to store credit only then offered me his $100 creamsicle for the 7 normal hatchlings. The cream has been ill-tempered, not easily handle-able, and eating spontaneously here and there.

The second problem with the creamsicle is that I don't know what I'd breed him with in my collection. I have my one breeding pair of normals and don't really care to produce normals het amel. I have hatchling anery A's but they wouldn't mix well with the cream and I have miami's coming I wouldn't mix with the cream either. He's a yearling so he's too young for my breeding pair and too young for my newest additions.

If I can get rid of him I'll have room for one more pair and I'm thinking something ghost or motley. I'm not a huge fan of most of the amel and albino breeds, I like dark or bright reds and oranges.

It's a shame cause the creamsicle is a gorgious snake, I hope I can at least break even. I think the only possibly way I would keep my male cream is if I found a female cream at the monroeville show tomorrow and I doubt thats going to happen...

so thats my story.
