That's funny about the maple leaf -- it really does look like one! Hey check out the pattern on the male, if you look closely you can see a skull pattern -- do you know what I mean? (The dark red circles are the eyes, with an outlined nose beneath it).

Congrats on the new little ones. They are very beautiful. I don't think that you have to worry too much about them eating. I got a pair from Home Grown Herps a couple of years ago and they are GREAT eaters. The male can smell the mice clear across the room and is waiting by the time I get to him. I bred them this year and am waiting for the eggs to hatch. (day 63) :cheers:
 
Actually no, my sunglow motley came from someone else. I got an anery a het ghost and a pastel mot from him in 2002. They are both terrific eaters and grew very fast. Still waiting for the eggs to hatch!!! :)
