I just bought my first snake, a snow corn hatchling last friday, and hadn't really held her at all, as suggested. She refused to come out of her hide. I saw a couple of days ago that she had shed on the other side of the viv and decided to feed her the next day. When I went to check which side of the viv she was on and to put her pinkie on, I found that she was gone! Apparently her shed was a "goodbye present". NEway I ended up finding her probably almost 20 hours after she had escaped ( somehow outside my apt. wrapped around the door knob - if you can explain this please do ). I tried to feed her that night I had found her thinking she may be hungry after her little venture, but with no success.
So am I just trying too soon? Could she be even more stressed do to her escape? Or do you think that she is going to be one tof those " problem feeders"?
PLEASE HELP
