My Twin Boys Were on the News

Since my eight year old twins have never really known their dad, I thought they might benefit from having a "Big Brother," through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program in our area. Unfortunately, there is a long waiting list, and not many new volunteers. Dominick and Caesar have already been on the waiting list for two years. To help raise awareness for the need of new volunteers, one of our local News Channels does a segment called, "Tuesday's Child." This month, my boys were chosen to be on it! I am told this was the first time the segment has featured twins. I thought I would share the YouTube link in case anyone would care to check it out. These are the little cuties who, along with my oldest son, Vito, will be getting a corn snake for Christmas this year.

If any of you out there don't know about the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, it is a wonderful program where adults and even teens can volunteer to mentor a young child that may be living in a one parent household, or a low income household, or things of that nature. The people who run it are very nice, and all the kids are just amazing.

Thanks to all who watch, and a very special Thank you to anyone who might spend their time as a volunteer, any place that needs it.

I had a Little Sisters kid when I was in my 20s. I took her horseback riding and to dog shows with me!
