Mystic Exotics snakes: then and now.

MysticExotics

(formerly NWHeather)
The following are snakes produced by Mystic Exotics, with updates on how they are doing.

Devon-Alabama "Taztec"-one of three babies from the Alabama X Tessera clutch that ended up with an Aztec type patterning. I spoke with Don S about them, and he said while he has seen normal siblings with some patterns seemingly affected by the Tessera gene (often a Motley-type pattern), he had never seen anythin glike these.
This clutch was a co-breeding pairing, between myself and Tara S. (I believe she has the other two "Taztec" babies.
Devon as a hatchling, and now.

Zayvion-F1 Alabama Tessera-from the same clutch as Devon. (WC Alabama female paired with Tara's male Tessera, Taz.
Zaycion as a hatchling and now. *I love his head/face markings!

**I want to add, that anyone with babies from Mystic Exotics, please feel free to add hatchling (or when you got them) and now photos!! :)

Next is Brokk, my F1 Miami Tessera, from a Miami phase female X Taz (Okeetee Tessera) same sire to the Alabama Tessera/Taztec clutch.
Brokk is my absolute favorite from that clutch, and he went on to produce more amazing babies! (A couple of which I kept).
Brokk as a hatching and now.

While I did not produce Cinaed, he came to me as a wee one, and I enjoyed watching him grow, and produce some amazing babies for me!
Cinaed was produced by John F. of Colorado Corns.
I am forever gratefull that Cinaed is here with me!!
Cinaed as a baby and now.

Here is one of the F1 Miami Tessera babies (formerly KAI-11-11T), who is now with my friend Matt Stewart of NWBloodlines.
This year, she was paired with a GHC Cinder male, and produced beautiful Miami Tessera's het for Cinder.
*I now have a pair of those babies as well! :)
Hatchling and now pics (adult photo taken by Matt).

I love threads like this. I find it so much more helpful to see the hatchling and adult pictures of the same snakes than to see hatchling and adult pictures of the same morphs... there's so much variation within morphs that I'm never sure if the difference of colors is because of maturity or different bloodlines. Thanks for posting these!

I agree! A lot, since this must be 10 characters. :p

A couple more from the 2011 F1 Miami Tessera clutch

First, is another one of my favorites, who now lives in Indiana.
I love her head pattern and coloring.
(Sister to my male Brokk)
Hatchling and adult photo (one of the last photos I took before she went to her new home).

Walter Smith has one of the females from the same clutch, and she also produced babies this year. She proved to be het for Amel, which I was not aware of any hets. (I will be testing Brokk to see if he also carries the het.) :)
Hatchling and adult photos (adult photo taken by Walter.

Tara sent one of the other female Miami Tessera's from this clutch to Don S., I'll have to see if I can get an adult photo of her.

Here's another sibling to Brokk. Her name is Arling, and she is owned by Tara.
She is here on breeding loan.
Hatchling pic and now. She's another one I really like!

I thought I'd update a couple babies from the 2011 F1 Miami Tessera clutch. You are probably familiar with Brokk, who is sire to last year's F2 Miami Tessera babies.

One of the females from the clutch (KAIA-11), has been with my friend Matt Stewart, who paired her with a Cinder male last year, is now back with me. She apparently made an escape last year, after she laid the clutch from the Cinder male.

This is the hatchling pic and one that was taken by Matt, of KAI-11, that is now back with me.

Heather, I really like Brokk and Cinaed. You really have done some good selecting.

Thanks! I didn't produce Cinaed, John Fisterwald did, but I have enjoyed watching him grow up, and sire some fabulous babies! Fingers crossed that he sires more babies this year as well! :)

I'm bumping this thread for anyone who now has one of the snakes I produced.

I'd love to see how the babies I produced are doing.
