Long time no speak guys.

Seeking advice on Nagini's behaviour for the past two weeks. He usually has a pretty ordinary routine of being in his cave (in the warmth) throughout the day then goes for a mooch at night but recently he's been coiled up in the open (which he doesn't normally do) in the cold side all day and doesn't move. When I get him out for his normal handling time he's not as active as he usually is and he's FREEZING cold. I turned the temp up in his Viv but he still chooses to coil and not move.

Extra info: he's eating normally, pooping and growing. He's 5 months old.

What's the temp on warm/cool side? He may have been moving out from his hide trying to find more warmth if your heaters/lamps aren't functioning properly. I am still new to snake world but that would be my first suggestion.

my snakes were rather sluggish last winter since the heaters were away from their preferred hides. I switched things around and they've been much more active. might be worth a shot.
