Smells Like a Rat
Is anybody coming? Anybody have a table? I will definitely be there on Saturday (only), maybe looking for a carmel or butter motley, or maybe a gold dust if I've got the cash... ;)

I was fortunate enough to meet Terri Bienkowski at a local show last weekend, so I know she'll be there, with lots of good looking snakes.

I know this a little early, but I'm waaaay excited.

So, anybody coming? :) I'd love say hi.

I was really wanting to go this year, but after buying a few unexpected snakelets, a new computer, and bills...I just don't have the money to make the trip this year, let alone look for something to buy.

Who knows, maybe I'll come into a windfall of money and be able to make it...but at this point in time I am doubting it.

I might go just to look around... but oh man that's dangerous XD I really shouldn't get any more snakes this year!

Yep!
I'll be there! Am sharing half of one table of two that Chuck and Connie of CCCorns will have at the show. Stop on by and say hello! Can't say I have anything to brag about at my table, but still fun to put names with faces and a bit of personality to boot! It's interesting to find out what people are really like! See you at Tinley!

It's very dangerous... I went to the All Animal Expo just to look around... and came home with a hatchling from you! :D

ZG, that's too bad... I hope you are able to make it somehow!

I will most definitely stop by! And I'm sure you'll have lovely stock that I will find irresistible!

I manage to fall into a babysitting job on campus, pending a little "interview" tomorrow, so I may actually have a little money for the show... UH OH...

If you're into Candycanes, they don't come better than Russell's stock.

Dale

*sigh*

wish it were so Dale, but sadly, I only have males that wanted to eat and thrive this year. NONE of the females would eat or me! NONE! Crazy year! So maybe if you wanted a MALE candy cane you might do alright... LOL!

I won't have a table at the show but I will be there all weekend. Maybe spending a little money while I'm there, ,lol..

Yep, as Emily1188 said I'll be there with a table that I'll be sharing with another member and good friend again23/Frank (he is the Opal czar & he loves to answer questions, lol). I will also be debuting the newest corn snake morph the Tessera! Don Soderberg of South Mountain Reptile was kind enough to offer me a pair in a breeding loan. These guys are beautiful and beasts when it comes to food.
In an interesting twist I will also be representing the amazing stock from Bayou Reptiles. Rob and Louise Stevens have some of the most beautiful animals around and they have agreed to allow me to show their wares off at the Tinley show given that they were unable to make the show this year. I was lucky enough to work their table at Daytona this year and I did not leave Florida without several of their animals. It's like crack cocaine! lol
So if you wanted some of their animals but shipping costs were a stumbling point now's your chance. You can stop by the table peruse the stock and snag a great animal(s) sans shipping! They are also sending a mess of adults and yearlings from the collection they purchased recently. Great opportunities all around.
I look forward to seeing every one there!!!
Terri

I'll be driving in Friday and plan on staying till Sunday. I know I'll be leaving with an animal or five. I found a female for my Vietnamese (Rhino) Rat Snake and I just know I'll find something at Terri's table.

I've still got a handful of animals I need to get rid of so I'll be updating my for sale thread soon. Just letting the "Serpenco fever" dissipate a bit...

What's the plan for Saturday night dinner??

I will be there, as a favor to my alleged sister, who has a couple of friends (9) at work who have asked I take their kids there (5 total) to help them pick out the right reptile pet for them. Also want to visit a place called TheSpiceHouse while in Chicago. (if yer into eats, they have a dot com. )
I'll be the guy in the shirt with a target on it.
;D

I love this store! I've been to the one in Geneva which is closer to me than the downtown Chicago location. Just for fun, freak them out and ask what spices enhance roasted bearded dragon...

I sent my sister an ounce of saffron for her second to last birthday, so this year she sent me some smoked hot paprika (i never knew the stuff had flavour) and some salts from various worldwide locations, hand harvested, and hickory smokehouse seasoning stuff, and Grains of Paradise; her way of "getting me back". Terrible stuff, that Grains of Paradise. I may never consume Java Black Pepper again. Just Say No, Don't Go There, and all that stuff. And that darned Smoked paprika, it's great on everything from fish to popcorn to asparagus. I don't love that store, their existence has kept me from paying off cornsnakes whacked on the visa card. Fortunately it's not too late to apply for a 5th mortgage before Tinley. I wonder if they have something better then NutriBac. I'll have to check it out and get back to you. ;D

I'd love to do dinner. A friend of mine who doesn't have herps but is an animal lover will be coming as well, and she's up for a meal too. :)

I'll buy. Your kitchen. Will need shrimp. And whole wheat french bread. Friend can spring for the wine. Dessert should be light, flambe plantains/rum suitable? Oh, and can you throw together a salad? (substitute the vinegar in the dressing with the dinner wine, pulls it all together). ;D
