New Arrivals - Thanks, Dean!!

Ironically Dean, the evil snake pusher, didn't mention any of those things to me prior to purchase.

But I have to tell you, I literally have tears rolling down my eyes at the Kal hiding in the console, and the icing was his tossing the boa into the air!!

Thanks so much, Dean. I'm a total snake newb and you choose to send me spawns of Satan!! :grin01:

Nanci, I have no idea....It's Matthew's turn to name this one. He'll probably go with Optimus Prime or something like that.

Whatever he goes with, I think his or her name really will be "snausage!" ;)

HAHA!! I literally laughed out loud at your photos and the comments to follow!!:laugh:
Beautiful choices by the way, I LOVE that snausage!

Would this be the same snake that likes stoves? :sidestep:

D80
Yep, same snake. He may have been mellow "out of the bag", but I can assure Lori that she has challenges ahead. She can't say that I haven't been completely honest! :grin01: Kal's a whacko!

Hehehee I wonder if this years brood is anything like last years? :noevil:

Even though this year's rosy litter SEEMS more placid than last year's, I can't guarantee anything. A hungry rosy is a DANGEROUS rosy (though the danger is pretty darned minimal).

Sorry that I didn't provide full disclosure, Lori. :grin01:

From Dean? I could have sworn the shipping label said something different! ;)

Btw I'll only charge you half of what Dean did....consider it the deal of the century! ;)

I have to say Joe, your packing is superb. Plus, I totally love the box, which I'll be using tomorrow to send fish to Wisconsin. But I have to tell you...I really had no idea how they were going to be packed, having never rec'd snakes in the mail. I very hesitantly removed piece after piece of crumpled newspaper....when I pulled out the last piece, a few pieces of shredded paper fell out if it and scared the crap out of me - I jumped right out of my skin!!

*edit*

I couldn't resist taking the rosy out for just a moment to let the spouse see her. She bit me about a dozen times before I actually was able to pick her up. She's definitely got some attitude. I know I shouldn't have, but I had to show her off. After about a dozen tags, she calmed right down. ;)

Careful, Joe. When Kal eats his first neighborhood toddler, you may want to insulate yourself against liability! :grin01:

Well if he's a neighborhood toddler eater, why in the heck did you get rid of him? I've heard you have some big toddlers that are somewhat annoying in your neck of the woods!

Update photos, Rosy's first feed!

Five days old and she eats like a champ!!
She even gave me a belly shot, she was so proud of herself.

She's so cute!!
I actually LOL'ed at the 2nd picture when I noticed gloves and Jack.
I love the comment after.
hahaha
Lucky you, I wanted Albino Cal. King!

Congratulations! They seem like they'd be fun snakes to breed. No incubation, and easy to feed babies.
