New Arrivals - Thanks, Dean!!

Original Curmudgeon
I'm so excited!! Got these two in the mail today. I was a bit apprehensive about opening the box (read: shaking in my boots) as I've never received snakes in the mail before. Dean told me to have band-aids ready because he was a bit "bloodthirsty."

Here is the box at the door. I was too late to get the back of the delivery man as he hightailed it off the porch.

What a sweet little baby! I was surprised at her size, though. She's much larger than my 6 mo. king. She feels like a snausage!

The fierce one....Kal, the lav-albino Ca. King

All that fear for nothing. He's a total pussycat!

I'm soooo happy! Thank you again, Dean....I love them both! *hugs*

Thanks for sharing in my big day. Sorry for the crappy pics. I haven't a clue how to use my fancy schmancy...uh...point and shoot.

Beautiful snakes, Lori!
I have a few rosies myself, they are great lil squishies!
Is she one of his 07s?
And the king is gorgeous!

So, your new kids are from Dean too, eh?
I'm just glad he totally forgot to pack Valencia and didn't toss her in your box by mistake!

Thanks, Beth! And no, that little rosy is all of two days old! Isn't he a beast??

Yeah, that would have been sooooo tragic, huh?

"Valencia? Noooo, she wasn't in MY box!!" :sidestep:

Geez, with the Jack Daniels and the gloves, It looks like you were expecting Dean in the box. :grin01:

LOL! The Jack was to give me added bravery, OR in case I had to pry him off my neck I was going to pour it on him!

Very kewl, Lori. They're spectacular! I've always wanted an albino king... but not when they're young and paranoid (flicking poo everywhere - LOL).

Glad all the preparations (for disaster) weren't necessary. I don't like bites either.

Thanks for sharing your new family members with us!

Fred

I'm so sorry I caused you so much apprehension concerning Kal! He really isn't that bad unless you smell like rodent or reptile. Someday, you'll slip, and you'll see! (I did.) ;)

Thanks for the photo update. I'm so glad they're safe with you and that you like them!

Oh, man. I did a literal LOL on that one, Jim. You're too much!

You was going to pry Deano off your neck by pouring alchohol on him, now that's not very nice :nope: ;)

Congrats on the new additions, I've got a squishie too :D it's not one of Deano's though :(

Thanks for the kind comments everybody! Funny, neither one of them have stayed in their hides. They're both out and about trying to get the hell out of their vivs!

I still cannot get over the size of the rosy. My son came home from school and said "I thought we were getting a baby?" The thing is massive for being only three days old. I have to admit, it's hard not to take her out and hold her some more. I love her squishiness.

LOL! You nut! Now come on...is there a gal on this forum who would actually try to pry Deano OFF their neck? I don't think so!

Hehehee I wonder if this years brood is anything like last years? :noevil:

That second photo, and Jim's comment, were the funniest thing I've read on this site for months. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
