New baby corn

Hello guys!
I just joined cornsnakes recently and the baby corn I was to get ended up dying so I went and found another one today that I just brought home. I am sooooo excited!
Once he is settled in I will take some pics of him and post them.
Right now he is in a kritter keeper with some newspaper and a hiding place and he's not coming out to say Hi! I am so tempted to play with him but I am letting him get cozy here first.
Did I mention how excited I was? :crazy02: :crazy02:

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear about your first corn, They are usually pretty health snake and easy to care for. Was it a pet store purchase? Sometimes they are not the healthy from there. Well, wish you luck with this one. And here are a few links to help you out.

Thanks for the info and the links.
My snake has come out of his hiding spot now that the lights are dimmed in here and is crawling all over the place. He is very active so that makes me happy!

Sorry about the first snake, but congrats on the new little one! I hope he does well for you

Does he have a name yet? :wavey:

Thanks. Doesn't really matter to me what he is cuz I love him already. He's totally exploring his cage right now...active! :D

Congratulations on the new baby. He looks like a normal to me as well. Where did you get him? From a pet store? If so,he is most likely to be a normal.

Thank you.
Yes, I got him from a pet store. He was in there with a few others that were like him as well as some snow corns. :D
