Just got my package from BHB in the mail this morning and I was so excited about my baby that I had to share

originally I wanted a butter stripe, but I saw these cuties and had to have one
shes a Gold Dust Motley/Stripe

I havnt touched her yet, gonna leave her until I can get some food. the note says she fed on Thursday the 6th, and I have a 100 pack of pinkies coming next week prolly wed. do you guys think its ok to let her be for two weeks without eating? or should I get a 3 pack at petsmart for this coming thursday?

i was thinking about naming her Lemon

Just wondering where you found your 100 pinkies that you ordered and if it was expensive ordering online? I haven't found any where to ship under $35. Price seems good til you figure the shipping is outrageous.

I get all my stuff from RodentPro. I just ordered 100 extra small pinkies for 25$ and shipping is 35$ its honestly the best price ive found...and u have to remember, ur rly only paying for the dry ice they use to keep the mice frozen. theres kinda no way around it unfortunately

also, if you figure getting frozen mice locally, the cost can be anywhere from 45 cents to 2$, which adds up way faster than if you were to spend $60 online and get 100. all in all its waaay worth it to order online

Nice pickup! Cant loose with Goldust and any kind of stripe. I'd suggest stuffing the hide or buying something smaller and flatter. Snakes (ESPECIALLY HATCHLINGS) typically prefer tight/dark enclosures.

Good point, I just figured that if I bought one hundred from Petco where they're $5 for three pinkies that would be $167 for 100 pinkies! I better do what you did and order online.

Zeina, ive had that coconut for several years. had it for my baby Snickie when I got her 5-6 years ago and she loved that thing. here she is, shes a little to big for it now, but loves it nonetheless

so sad lol

crzy, its so worth it to buy bulk. I spent $90 on 100 haired weanlings for my bigger snake, which is still great cuz that will last about a year

no problem. ive never had a problem with rodentpro. the last time I ordered, they arrived while I was out of town so they sat at my door for maybe 24 hours and the ice was still solid and the mice still frozen when I got home. they pack awesome
but their shipments are kinda weird. if u order mon-thur, they ship the next monday, but fri-sat they dont ship out that monday, but the next monday. so essentially u have to wait a week or two to get them. so make sure u have enough left until then, otherwise, great website

I definitely think it was worth $130 to get her. shes so cute. shes maybe half the size that my other corn was when I got her so im kinda nervous about handling her for feeding tomorrow.
I would definitely order again from them when I have the space

today was feeding day! very happy to report that she took the mouse within 3 seconds. good news to me!! unfortunately she did bite me when I tried to pick her up afterwards

also held her for a little bit before foodie time. I got some pics so I can do a size comparison later on
