That's probably an Amel, however it looks pretty light either its in shed or... perhaps a Butter.

At any rate, congrats!

Thank you, i loved the color so it was the one, right now its the most jumpy snake ive ever had, very fast when touched or when i try to handle, but so far hasnt bitten just flails, calms down after a minute or 2 tho so i think its just scared right now.

I agree, most likely a butter, but pic is from kinda far out so not quite sure. Lore is PREEETTTYY good at identifying though, so yea... what she said lol!

The second photo says butter to me as well...but I would possibly question that morph being sold at a pet shop. I think some creamsicles have a similar color, but couldn't swear to it. Any other thoughts about the chances of a pet shop getting a butter in?

Creamsicle

My first thought was creamsicle, but I haven't seen very many pictures of baby butters so I'm in no position to judge that. I'd say a light amel or a creamsicle. :santa:

That was my thought too, Susan. I've never seen anything like that being sold in a pet store, but maybe the breeder made a mistake when shipping out. I figured perhaps a light Amel washed out by the flash.

ok help the newbie , whats a butter :p why wouldnt it be in a pet store.

Cause usually pet stores only sell amels, anery's, some ghosts and snows, and normals of course. Higer end morphs a.k.a less bred morphs are mostly sold through others channels to breeders and people who are willing to pay a little more for a more special morph.

I'm thinking yours is a butter, a lot of yellow. Congrats on your new baby.

The pic I attached is a butter motley, keep us updated on the baby. It will be cool to see the colors as it grows more.

Thats what I love about this forum, any questions you have you can do a search and I bet you can find a answer. I've learned a lot on here. Tell the new baby I say hi lol

im giving it a little time to settle, right now you touch it and it plays rattlesnake with the tail so i think its real scared
soon ill be able to start handling and getting it comfertable and hopefully get a shot or 2 in natural light to see if the color looks the same and answer what it is :)

There was a butter in the locally owned shop near me. So its not totally impossible. Take some more shots after she settles in.
