New Brooks King

Ha! I meant they don't express their fondness for us very well. My kitty shows me he loves me by tripping me down the stairs... usually pretty successfully

So now that I see Domino is getting ready to shed, I have looked at all the Care Sheets and it really does not address this....
Brooks Kings require a low humidity,

•Should I mist her now that shes blue?
•Should I place a humid hide in for her?

* Do you really think a snake native to Florida would require low humidity?
* It can't hurt.
* I treat my Florida king(s) the same as all my other Florida native snakes (corns) and don't really think about humidity at all, except to give snakes in glass tanks with screen lids a misting and plastic wrap over the lid when blue. Snakes in bins (which hold humidity better) rarely, rarely have a bad shed.

No I don't but ya know what...I agree with what you say but EVERY care sheet I have read , including on my site, states, keep Brooks with low humidity, I agree its odd considering the climate they originate from.

Just thought Id ask.

Maybe the "low" humidity mentioned on those caresheets is just meant to be in reference to some of the tropical snakes that require high humidity? Dunno.

Cold be, I went out and bought a Tupperware container and made her a nice Humid Hide and I misted.

Thanks to everyone for the insight and replies

Maybe he has taken out an insurance policy on you!!! You can come over to my house and have all the love you can handle with the white behemoth and company. He won't leave you alone until you run away and hide! (wait, I think that was some guy I dated in high school...)
