Old enough to know better
I bought the HP Pavillion G7 with Windows 8. My problem is that for some reason when I scroll the font gets so small I can barely see it. other time it is so large you only get a portion of the page.

I don't know what causes it. it just happens when I am using the scroller.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
 
It sounds like the control key is sticking.

If you hold control, and scroll with the mouse wheel, most browsers will change the zoom of the page.

What browser are you using?
 
You know what? The answer came to me while I was dreaming, the scroll pad works like a smart phone, you use two fingers to make the contents of the screen larger or smaller!

Sorry I didn't finish answering your questions, this is Windows 8 and I don't use a mouse, it is a laptop so I use the scroll pad. I do prefer a mouse, but this scroll pad I like.
