Hello all, I am a new snake owner from VA. I have two corns and love them. One is about 7 years old and is the nicest snake you would ever see. She is the picture in the Tub. I also have a young one whom I bought last year. I think he is about a year and a half old. He is a little timid at time and will let you know when he does not want to be messed with. Other than that he is great. I see everyont talking about what type there snakes are. When I got the small one they said it was an albino? I know I need better pics and will get them shortly. Thanks
 
Hello & welcome from Idaho! Looks like your pictures didn't show up? When you do get some up we will be happy to let you know what they are. Does your "albino" one have any red on it or is it all white?
 
Too me it looks like a creamsicle. It is orange and white. I do not know why my pics will not load. I am trying from work, I will wait till I get home to see if I can.
 
I hope this works. This is Lucy she ( is what I was told but I think form the tail is a male?) is about 48 inches long and is the friendliest snake I have seen. Nothing excites her and she loves roaming around. If the pic works I know it is not the best one however can anytone tell me what kind of corn ti is.

Does it have red eyes? From the picture I'd say it looks like a normal, also called classic, motley. Motley is a pattern gene. If the eyes are red though, it would be an amel motley. I can't see the eyes good enough to tell.
 
Now that I got that one to work let's try it again. This is Willie (Nelson) I got him last year and he was about 15 inches long. He is now 26 inches long. I will have to take new pics of him as well.

Both of there eyes are red. The little one according to the pet store is supposed to be an albino? I bought the little one first (my first snake as well) and when he bit me that day I liked his attitude. Very few bits since then ( mostly me moving too fat to get him) I am guessing he is a little over a year? I bought him in July last year.
The big one is about 7-8 years old.
 
Thank you. Willie is a handful he is calming down alot but will definately let you know if he does not want to be messed with.
 
yeah wiggles is the same way i've gotten nipped by him a couple times slithers is as calm as can be though
 
The first one is an Amelanistic Motley & the other is some form of Amel as well. I'm not as good at picking out the differences between the different Amel based morphs, so I'm not sure if it's anything in addition to an Amel. Amelanism is the absence of melanin, the black pigment. Albino means white & in animals like humans that melanin is the only pigment they have, you get an all white one if they are lacking it. Corns, however have five types of pigment, so one lacking melanin isn't going to be all white. That's why most breeders use the term Amel or sometimes a Red Albino to refer to them as it's more accurate.
