I just got this lovely lil girl today. Only thing is the pet store said she was a Striped Ghost. I know she striped but is she really ghost. Some pictures are attached. I think she was a wonderful find and will make a great match with my snow corn this spring, tell me what you all think.

What's on her nose? :shrugs:

Looks like a ghost stripe to me... amazing you found a stripe at a store, she's a cutie :cheers:

By "will make a great match with my snow corn this spring", do you mean to breed her this spring? She looks very young, and I'm thinking to young for breeding this year. :shrugs:

thats just a spot on her nose, doesnt seem to be anything i looked rather close but its just a black spot.
 
Some of the ink on that newspaper could have gotten wet and rubbed off on her nose.
My only other suspicion is that it's a scar. Was she living with other snakes at the pet store?
 
the dot was there before the newspaper and she was alone in her tiny lil cage at the pet store. She couldnt just have a black spot pn her nose?

Now I wanna come to Cali, I wish the pet stores by me sold stripes... heck, all I ever see are either snows, amels, or normals. They don't even have anerys. I have to wait til' the reptile expo in feb here in nova in order to get my next corn. I'm thinking anery, granite or pewter. Hopefully I can find a stripe in one of those... guess it depends if any of the name vendors consider showing up. You definately are a lucky one for a find like that. Did it have a previous owner? I know a lot of snake keepers here in nova end up getting rid of their pythons and corns at our local critter and creatures. Maybe someone just didn't want it anymore and did so? I dunno... good luck with it, should turn out nice. Def have to post progression pics every now and then!
 
every once in a while i find striped normals at the pet supplies plus near my house, but no Ghost Stripes! Nice snake.
 
I dont shop at just any pet store. I go to Prehistoric Pets, they had like 8 or 9 other stripes of different colors. They have a very nice website. You should look it up. They even have some jungle corns right now, very nice ones I think.
 
her eyes are black as night which I think sets her color off even more. she was a very wonferful find I think.
