By our own Kathy Love. Congrats, Kathy! They gave you some ink space, too!

I don't know about there, but the PetSmart here in town carries single copies (although I have no idea how updated they are).

I will check there the next time I go to the cities. I checked at a big bookstore that had magazines for every topic under the sun, and they did NOT have Reptiles. :(

Don't Petsmart/Petco carry it? Usually they are way ahead of the mail-out subscribers.

All magazines should be offered digitally. So much easier.

I looked on my Nook for it awhile back; nothing. I am not near a Petco/Petsmart, but I know someone who is in the cities.

Just got my new issue of Reptiles out of the mailbox. Haven't had a chance to sit down and read the article yet, but I'm sure it will be well-written, and informative.

Congrats, Kathy! It's nice to see a cornsnake article in a magazine with the circulation volume of "Reptiles". I hope more people are encouraged to keep them. Amazing snakes, and still my favorite species.

Kathy

Thanks!

I haven't actually read it since it was published. Hopefully no unwanted editing changes - or typos.

Unfortunately, magazine articles are really limited. You have to really condense to fit within their size guidelines, and they only want what they only want. So magazine articles are good mainly for introducing a new topic and encouraging further research. I have used them that way myself for animals or other subjects that I am totally unfamiliar with, and undecided whether I want to dig for further info. A good article can help you to decide if it is a subject that really interests you. Of course, everyone on this forum has already decided that about corns, lol!
