Arundel Reptiles

I have been looking to get back into these for years, so I am just a little excited these guys will be here Wed. Andean Milk Snakes from DNS Reptiles.

Those are really cool! What made you pick that particular species?

I've kept them before, and just really enjoyed them. When I downsized to just focus on corns I sold my pair, and I regretted it. The ones I had were puppy dog tame, ate great and were just fun to have. I found a breeder who has striped ones and "Inca" phase (kind of like a hypomelanistic) that I'll be saving my ducats to pick up in the spring. I think the two traits are more polygenic than simple recessive, at least the striping is but the main goal is to have two unrelated pairs to breed in the future. And no extra heat source needed, they thrive at room temps :)

ouuu!

I love how bright they are, and TONS of triads!!
crazy..

yes I agree with Nanci what made you choose these guys over something like pueblans or Hondurans?
what sizes do they reach???

man! their sooo pretty!

ahahaha!

holy cow!
that's neat though, they remind me a lot of the black milk snakes, large and they like it cooler..

very nice finds!

Thanks all, I've got two more, a 2011 aztec/inca line male and a 2012 striped line female on hold for 2.2 unrelated future breeders. In for a penny, in for a pound ;)
