My daughter has been asking for a snake for some time. I live in Southeast Fla, (about 2 hrs no. of Miami). As fate would have it I found my new snake in our pool skimmer. I've had him for 2 weeks and he is eating lizards. I have named him "skimmer." I am interested to know what y'all think about his species identification. What I find odd is that at the end of his tail he hardly has any marikings - but then again he is just a young lad (or lassie).
