New Snake - Morph Help Plz

I just picked up Fluffy this week and I'm not really sure what morph she is... From the research I've done I'm guessing she's some kind of Amel. Possibly Hypo Amel? I'm new to this corn thing so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

it's my room mate. he just walked by at the right time i guess. he actually does have a head as far as i can tell...

pardon my ignorance... but what are some of the key determining factors to tell the difference between just a normal amel, and a double trait like a sunkissed or hypo?

known genetics of parents (which in this case are not known) are the best for determining the genetics of any given snake.

In this case we can go by looks alone. After learning more about the various morphs you get more accustom to being able to visually identify most morphs.

The snake in this case is clearly amel. You can rule out most other morphs. Sunkissed has an effect on the pattern, most notably the head pattern. Hypo is a little hard to rule out, because amel generally masks hypo. So it's always possible it could be hypo as well...but we can only go by what we can see, so it is just assumed to not be hypo. Other traits will also change the color or pattern in various ways. Just have to learn to spot the differences. Het's also (in most cases) cannot be seen visually.

He must have leaned it forward so the snake and the OP's hand blocked it from the camera. It looks really weird though.

I agree with Amel, possibly with het Blood or Stripe? His belly pattern looks like some het blood and het stripes I've seen, with a clear path down the middle and unclear checks.

My guess is amel het blood because of that sweet looking clean belly with the bleeding on the sides. Nice pick-up!
