My friend gave me his corn with a huge glass aqurium (tank). The tank is 4' long 1'1/2'' Wide 3' Tall and the corn is about 4'8'' long. Is this size tank a good size for it? The tank didn't have any heat source no light or heating pad and he had this corn for a couple of years like that. It seems to be all right. Since I've had the corn I so far bought a heat lamp, water dish, new bedding and a piece of wood for him to climb around on. Know for a hide away thing for it I only have a light towel in there. The corn seems to like it. My friend only had his sweat shirt in there since he owned it. I fed the corn 4 mice since I had it. I only had the corn now for one week. He told me, it only eat's once a month 4 mice and it was time to eat last week. Since I fed it's been hiding out ever since. I checked on it and he's alive. I held the corn for my first time it didn't bite me but, it constricted to my arm. So, I put it back in his tank. The corn was cold and left a cold area on my arm for a bit. Is this normal? Is it normal for it to stay hiding after eating? And how often do I feed it? Like I said, it's about 4'8'' long. Four mice a month just don't seem right to me. The corn seem to want more mice.
