Hey guys, first I'd like to say thanks for an excellent forum! I've really been enjoying the reading I've been doing over here and I'm a big forum nerd in general so I love finding another great forum to read in the evenings!
My name is Chris and I live in the suburbs of Chicagoland.
I've owned one corn snake in the past which I ended up giving to my sisters friend since at the time (10+ years ago now!) I was living at my parents house and let's just say they weren't too thrilled about me bring home a snake. So I only had it for a few months. It was a beautiful snow corn and it went to a good home but I haven't seen it since which makes me sad and wonder how its doing after all this time. :-(
Fast forward to today and I decided one September evening that I needed another pet snake and there was no one to stop me from getting one. (Except the wife! But she really didn't mind anyways, still working on getting her to hold it though). I have a 4 year old daughter who enjoys holding the snake so really a corn snake was the perfect snake for our family.
We got what I believe to be a male sunglow corn snake. He has been doing great and seems so very interested in everything we do anytime I walk past the tank! He really has been growing rapidly and I find it very exciting to watch!
I've been really enjoying the forum here over the past few months reading and I've finally decided to join in on the action! Thanks again for the great spot to hang.
