I'm getting ready to move Max from her 10gal into a 30gal tank, and I'm wondering if I need to buy the next size UTH or not?

I currently have the 10-20gal size from Zoo Med for both Max and Fayth (who is in a 20gal). The only difference between the 30 and 20 is height. So, would I need to upgrade or can I keep my current heater?

If the footprint is the same then no you don't need to upgrade providing the mat covers 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottom of the enclosure.
