I know it must have been asked before, but would a baby hatchling be severely uncomfortable if he/she was put in a 29 gallon tank from the get-go? I'm picking up an okeetee this week and I know I would appreciate some more floor space if I were him.

I was told my baby snake would be intimidated by a viv as large as the one I intended to buy, but being a bit suspicious I thought they were just trying to make me buy two :p

I put a hide, small bowl of water and snakey inside a plastic "sweater box" (lid off) which I left inside the large viv. That way he could make his own mind up.

Turns out my lad is scared of nothing and left the safety of his sweater box the next morning, but it's a suggestion if you're concerned :)

I made a post about this a few down. Just decorate the larger viv as much as possible and have a smaller container for feeding just incase.
