Newbie, can a corn snake live on feeder fish

Hi, i am recently considering getting a corn snake and have been doing some research about it. I have read that corn snakes eat fish in the wild and have heard of people giving their corn snakes fish without any problenss. But, can a corn snake live on feeder fish like minnows? I am okay with feeding mice but my mom is a little freaked out about it. She is okay with feeding it fish or pieces of cow heart but doesnt want any mice on her freezer or doesnt want to see me defrosting the mice in her kitchen. :shrugs: Are there any other alternatives to mice?

Welcome to the site!!!!!!!! There is a lot of information here. Be sure to read the FAQ section in the forums. They answer a lot of questions. There is a search feature that answer many questions also.
There are a lot of great people here. Everybody is always willing to help.

I do not think you can feed a corn feeder fish. Mice or rats are preferred. (frozen/thawed or live) They do make "Snake Steak Sausages" but I have never seen them.

great, i dont think the petco or petsmart around here have them but i think theres a snake store around here and they should probably have them
:)
