Okay, well firstly Im sorry Im really poor when it comes to working these websites, never know if im posting in the right place etc.

I bought my first corn snake today! :D I was told it was an Amber but the pet store owner was useless, he was even scared to pick up the snake! LOL
So if anyone could tell me what morph it is I would appreciate it :D

Another thing hes been feeding it one pinkie a week and the records go back to the 8th of Oct 09. Is this enough because I was always told too feed it 2 pinkies a week?

He didn't know the sex of it either which is annoying!

The pic is pretty poor, I apologise for that too but any help is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks, Liam

facebook images won't work. You can host it here or on photobucket.

You need to get a scale and weight it to see if it's ready for two pinkies, but my guess is yes considering the age. You can get a scale that weighs snakes in grams at a place like walmart, use a food scale. They only run around 14 bucks or so. (I now see you are in the UK so I am not sure where or how much they will be...but reasonable anyway)

Cute snake, and she definatly looks large enough for two pinks or even a peach fuzzy! However, I would say no to the amber morph. Looks more like a low white amel to me. The ambers look like butters for the most part and are much more yellow.
http://www.moreptiles.com/amber.htm to see a proper amber.
But either way she is very cute!

Thanks a lot whippet :D
Helped me a lot, yeah I agree certainly doesn't look like an amber :\
Anyway whatever it is I lovee it :D

Definitely not an amber, but I would like to see a photo that shows as much of the belly as possible in good lighting and in focus. The head pattern and what little of the belly I can see in the photo you posted has me thinking it just might be a fire (aka amel diffuse or amel bloodred) which would make it a super pet store find!
