Hello everyone, I got my first corn a little over a month ago at midwest reptile expo. THIS was the first reptile expo I had been to and look forward to going to many more. My corn is a normal around 15 inches long, i"m not sure whether it is male or female because I forgot to have it sex,so I will just say he for now. I have some other reptiles in the past but this is my first snake. He is an awesome snake and my 2 kids love him too. He is in the blue stage right now so I have not seen him as much. Thanks for all the great info and I"m sure I"ll have more questions along the way.

Hi there and welcome to the forum :D be careful going to more shows, corns are extremely addicting, it's hard for us to resist them lol

Hello and thanks for the welcome, I agree it is addicting I am all ready wanting another one or two or three.lol

So, are any of my fellow Hoosiers going to the Midwest Reptile show at the fairgrounds next weekend? I know it won't be as exciting as Daytona...

It's from 10-4. My boys have a birthday party to go to at 2, so I'm trying to drop them off to their dad in time to go to the show!

Yes I plan on going, I went to my first one in July which is where I got my first snake, really liked it so i will probably be attending as many as I can.

Good to here from another hoosier.

Thankyou, Thats funny because I was looking at a picture today of an okeetee and that is exactly what I was thinking. He is a great snake. I got to see himm shed his skin the other day so that was pretty cool.

Thanks again

Are you going to look, or to buy? What are you looking for?

Hey theresa, probably just looking but if something catches my eye then that might change.I will probably wait till the September show to get one. I will definitly get another corn sooner or later but I am also very intersted in the milk snakes too.

Have you found you a corn yet? The Midwest reptile Show is a great place to look.

I'm not looking for a corn right now, I want a male Western Hognose. I know at least one of the vendors breeds them, but have no idea what's available right now...

Thanks for the welcomes, sorry about the slow responce I have not had much time to get on here lately. Looks like you both got a nice collection of snakes, lizards, fish, oh! and children. I am looking to add another snake here soon probably a corn or a milk snake.

Hoosiers out the woodwork. We don't number as many as the Floridians, but it's a start!

I may not live in indiana now, but once a Hoosier, always a Hoosier :)
