Well the new NIN c.d. comes out Tuesday May 3, and it rules. Don’t know how many NIN fans we have on this site but I can’t wait to hear what others think about it.
I just can’t wait to see Trent live :grin01:
Should be a great show

While I'm a NIN addict, I'm not terribly impressed with the new single. It's par for the course, but not astounding like most of the tracks on Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral.
If you're a serious fan, I assume you adore Further Down the Spiral? I don't think I've ever heard anything in the world quite that angry! :devil01:

I have the U.S. and U.K versions of Further Down the Spiral, they both rock!
The singles off the new CD are ok but the rest of the CD rules.
Broken was a great CD as well.
The Fragile was a great cd....o they are all great CD's lol :grin01:
:sidestep:

I saw the UK version once while in Victoria and passed on it. Been kicking myself ever since. :twohammer

I know you Navy guys really dig that whole "...like an animal" thing. :roflmao:

Trent Reznor was my own private deity when I was an angst ridden teenager-early twenty-something but I've gotta say I haven't sought out any NIN for years...I still think he makes some intensley angry and powerful stuff...but I guess we all move on... Marilyn Manson is so trying to be like Trent but too much of it seems for the shock value rather than for real. Although I gotta say I like the cover of 'Suicide is Painless' that he did.

Gotta agree with ya there. His stuff has been pretty much worthless since his "falling out" with Trent after Antichrist Superstar.
but I guess we all move on...
That could explain why none of the newer stuff has truly grabbed me...
Or I may just be getting old! :uhoh:

I just heard about the new CD about a week ago and was very surprised to hear about them. I thought they left the music scene back in the mid 90s. No wonder I still occasionally see people with NIN bumper stickers. I thought those people were just living in the past.
