intresting thing is, she was also fed 4 days ago, and she knows i feed every fifth day. All my snakes know how to count their days cuz on the fifth day they all come out and get ready for food. But, o well, it took a while to get her to disconnect from my arm

well, i have two okeetees and and amel, and the amel is significantly nicer, but it is possibly because they are in a different area of the house and i hold them a little bit less often (and they are younger)

LOL~
nice little bite marks~

but hey you've got a nice looking animal there~
I'd say a nice little price to pay~

i cant speak for all okeetees but i can say that my little one is the nippiest of my snakes. I have a miami who seems like she is almost as "loving" as a dog or cat. It's really odd, considering she's a snake and all.

I hear caramels usually have a real layed back disposition

most of my okeetees are wonderful, but I have a couple of gorgeous okeetee hatchlings who were devils out of the egg. One is now a year old and has never failed to strike on every occasion I open her cage. I've got used to the bites (almost). She is the best looking, but I'm going to give in and sell her one day.

As inspector Clouseau would say, "swein okeetee"! Since you're wearing leather gloves, I have to ask- is it common for that Okee to bite or be nippy ?

Skye's Okeetee's

Hey Skye, how many Okeetees do you have and are the nippy ones from the same source as those that have better dispositions?

okeetees are survivors. They're usually very good eaters and grow pretty bulky from those that i've seen. IMO, this has a lot to do with their dispositions and tendency to sometimes be high strung is linked with their durability.

My two Love-Line Okeetees are the meanest corns I've ever had! lol

They only get to stay because of how nice they look. :)

See what I mean? :D

i know that feeling. I've got a fiesty lil fella' who someone has told him that he's a diamondback or something.

So we've established that okeetees can be a little nippy. What i want to know is, what is the most layed back corn you have? I'd have to say my miami.

Hehe I was wondering why my snake was soo unfriendly. Now I know its an Okeetee type, beautifull thou. Bit me twice as well. She is still 8 months old, maybe the attitudewill improve with more handling :/
