Should I be worried? I have had my corn snake for 2 weeks now. It was fed in the shop when we got her and i fed her on monday. However there is no poo in her viv at all. Is something wrong?
Thanks

how big is your set up, Mine is in a 29 gal aquarium and there is usually no visual poo to be found but she has been eating and seems to be healthy... I was about to start a thread to find out how many days after feeding to weigh her because i couldn't find out when she was pooing.

Poo takes 2-5 days depending on temps, activity of the snake, and of course whether or not the snake decides it needs to poo,lol If your snake is young the poo is small anyway and could be missed but once a week your snake should be going. If a snake is eating and not pooing for more than a week or so it may be impacted or have some other kind of intestinal blockage especially if your feeding on the aspen so keep an eye out, but 99% they just go:) You can also let the snake swim in shallow water no hotter than 86 with you watching it can make them go. As far as weighing most do it right before a feed when the snake is "empty".

Check the perimeter of the viv.
My corn always does his along the sides, unless I have him on my lap at the time then it is usually into a paper towel. I have learned to read his body language.

i sort of thought I would be able to smell it? But maybe not. When I took her out yesterday she seemed really active compared to normal and didn't want to be held, so maybe she is going to be shedding soon? As i haven't seen her shed before I don't really know what to look out for.
My tank is 15 gallons i think. I am going to clean the tank out properly on monday so I'm sure if she has done any I will find it. I take her out of her viv to feed her so she shouldn't have taken in any aspen. Thanks for all your help, I'll let you know what happens hehe.

If she is tiny I am saying about 12-15 g in weight expect a poop the size of a 1/4 of a dime or smaller.... so it can be very hard to find.. of she is larger than that say 19-30 g it will be closer to 3/4 of a dime to a dime size...this is all dependent on viv temps and how well she is digesting. And the larger the snake the larger the poo. Just thought I would let you know that in case you have a very small baby and are just missing it because you do not know to look for a very very tiny poo.

ok so she did just have a shed. and then straight away pooed hehe. i am meant to feed her tomorrow, will she still feed after a shed?
