Just A Corn Noob
ok so if corns are active during night time does that mean at midnight i put the bright light on or the darker light. is it a time thing or can you create night and day for them?

thanks in advance.

Corns are actually crepuscular. I don't know if simulating light would work or not. Their internal clocks might keep them on a normal day/night cycle. Although, complete darkness can trick them into brumating. I'm really just thinking out loud now. :shrugs:

They're active at times of low/no light, so they'll need darker conditions when they'd normally get them in the wild i.e. overnight.

If the light is the heat source, then use the darker light at night. If you have another heat source, then switch the light off altogether at night.
