Last weekend I was busy with my hypo lavender project. Two years ago I bred lavender to ghost and got all normals. This year I bred the normals together and got 19 eggs, from which 4 had a window in them. Three of them died before they hatched and I was left with 16 eggs.
After calculating the odds I was expecting:
42.2% = 7 normals
18.8% = 3 lavenders
14.1% = 2 hypos
14.1% = 2 anerys
4.7% = 1 ghosts
4.7% = 1 hypo lavenders
1.6% = 0 unknown (ghost lavenders)
What I got was:
31.1% = 5 normals
12.5% = 2 lavenders
12.5% = 2 hypos
6.3% = 1 anery
25.0% = 4 hypo lavenders
6.3% = 1 unknown (bluish lavender/ghost)
Unfortunately one of the lavenders and the strange ghost/lavender have both a bad looking kinks. :crying:
